Lake Tahoe ski rentals
Every one of our homes is within about 20 minutes of a ski area, so start with the mountain you want to ski. Drive times are without traffic or snow: on storm days and winter weekends, allow extra time and carry chains or have four-wheel drive. Book these homes directly with Tahoe Cohost Collective, the local team that cares for them.
Palisades Tahoe
Palisades Tahoe has two bases, Olympic Valley and Alpine Meadows, linked by a gondola. KT Hideaway is 7 minutes from the Olympic Valley base, and Mountain Chic Condo and Rocky Alpine Lodge are 2 and 5 minutes from the Alpine base. Our Tahoe City homes are 17 to 21 minutes from the Alpine base.
Northstar
Northstar Hideaway is 3 minutes from Northstar Village. Our Kings Beach and Tahoe Vista homes are 11 to 16 minutes from the village, with Diamond Peak in Incline Village about 15 to 25 minutes the other way, and Twin Pine Retreat in Truckee is 15 minutes away.
Tahoe Donner Downhill
Our seven Tahoe Donner homes are 4 to 9 minutes from Tahoe Donner Downhill, a small, family-friendly ski area. For bigger mountains, Boreal and Soda Springs are 15 to 20 minutes west, Sugar Bowl about 22 minutes, and Northstar about 20 minutes.
Homewood Mountain Resort
Homewood is the west shore ski area with Lake Tahoe views from the runs. Drifthaus and Rubicon Retreat are 5 minutes away, Sunnyside Lodge 8 minutes, and Alpine Chalet 13 minutes, and Palisades Tahoe is 15 to 30 minutes north of all four.

Sugar Bowl, Boreal, and Donner Summit
A Peek of Donner Lake and Truckee Time are on Donner Lake, about 10 minutes from Sugar Bowl, 11 minutes from Boreal, and 13 minutes from Soda Springs, so you can ski Donner Summit and be back by the lake for dinner.
