Rules & Policies
House Notes & Rules
Please use the Peleton and Hot Tub at your own risk. The Homeowner and Co-Host assume no responsibility for Peleton and Hot Tub use.
DOCK RULES. There is a maximum of 15 people (renters and their guests) on and around the dock at any time. The dock is shared, so please be respectful of other families and neighbors (see other rules regarding access, dogs, music, curfew, etc). Renters may bring boats to the dock, but they must be attended at all times. No dogs allowed on the dock. Access is only to the main level of the dock - NO access to the higher deck or the lower boat lift level. There is a strict curfew of 8pm at the lake and the dock as there are other families on the lake who share the dock and beach with us. Please do not be down there after 8pm. No amplified music or noise. Do not leave items on the dock or beach when not there as it is a shared space. Boats may be delivered to the dock and can tie up temporarily on the south side of the dock, inside the main dock where there is a ladder. But, as the dock is shared with other families, please limit the amount of time the boat is tied up and be respectful of others using the dock. If you are leaving the dock, the boat must also depart while you are gone. Boats must obey dock curfew rules and can not stay overnight. Nearby marinas offer daily buoys and overnight storage. There is no boat ramp at the house, so boats must put into the water at any of the nearby public boat ramps (Sunnyside, Tahoe City, etc). Reminder: All boats must be inspected before being put into Lake Tahoe.
NO SMOKING. Absolutely no smoking in the home or in the outside space. Smoking in or on the property is subject to a $300 fee. No smoking on the premises.
PET RULES. Maximum 2 dogs (30 pounds or less and don't shed) are allowed with advance notice of reservation. Pet fee must be paid prior to arrival.
Please make sure all pet excretion is picked up in the backyard and around the property.
Please bring a crate with you and crate you dog(s) if they will be left at home for any reason.
Please be courteous of neighborhood pets, as most Tahoe dogs will be off leash.
This is coyote country and they are really good at luring pups into their pack - so keep a close eye on your fur baby!
Dogs are NOT permitted on the furniture in any way (Not with your own blankets from home or even if they are hypoallergenic).
*Additional cleaning fee may be applied if there is excessive pet mess.
WINTER WEATHER WARNING (November-April). Outdoor furniture (including the BBQ) may not be available. During the winter months a 4WD or show chains are recommended to access this home. There may be snowy, icy and other conditions that make driving, parking, navigating the driveway and other transportation difficult at times. Guest is entirely responsible for their choices related to vehicle usage, and Guest and Co-Host strongly recommend adequate consideration thereof.
