HOME TRUTHS
Guests have access to the entire home, except for the first floor kitchen (but don't worry there is a full-sized and newly remodeled kitchen on the second floor!).
Many stairs leading to the home and inside, which could be challenging for those with mobility issues
Please note there is no central heating, but there are wall heaters and space heaters in every room as well as little electric furnaces for your use during your stay. A wood burning fireplace is available only in case of a power outage. We ask that you use the wall heaters and radiators provided in each room as your first source of heat.
No central heating, but wall heaters, space heaters, and electric furnaces are provided; wood-burning fireplace available only in power outages
There is a short, but steep driveway (in the winter we recommend chains/4wd). The driveway is also shared with the home next door.
Home is located on North Lake Blvd which can be noisy during peak months.
While newly remodeled, the home is still older. Please be aware the water can take some time to warm up. It is advised to avoid using the all three showers simultaneously particularly in winter time.
SHOES. Please kindly remove your shoes while in the house.
NO SMOKING. Absolutely no smoking in the home or in the outside space. Smoking in or on the property is subject to a $300 fee. No smoking on the premises.
PET RULES. Maximum 2 dogs (30 pounds or less and don't sehd) are allowed with advance notice of reservation. Pet fee must be paid prior to arrival.
Anytime a pet is outside of the home and is not in the fully fenced back yard, the pet must be kept on a leash and accompanied by the owner.
Please make sure all pet excretion is picked up in the backyard and around the property.
Please bring a crate with you and crate you dog(s) if they will be left at home for any reason.
Please be courteous of neighborhood pets, as most Tahoe dogs will be off leash.
This is coyote country and they are really good at luring pups into their pack - so keep a close eye on your fur baby!
Dogs are NOT permitted on the furniture in any way (Not with your own blankets from home or even if they are hypoallergenic).
*Additional cleaning fee may be applied if there is excessive pet mess.
WINTER WEATHER WARNING (November-April). Outdoor furniture (including the BBQ) may not be available. During the winter months a 4WD or show chains are recommended to access this home. There may be snowy, icy and other conditions that make driving, parking, navigating the driveway and other transportation difficult at times. Guest is entirely responsible for their choices related to vehicle usage, and Guest and Co-Host strongly recommend adequate consideration thereof.
