Customer Experience (CX) Coordinator

Remote | Part-time | $19/hour

About the Role:

We are looking for a Customer Experience (CX) Coordinator to serve as the primary point of contact for current and potential guests. You will leverage property management tools and established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to provide high-touch, efficient communication that ensures every guest feels supported from inquiry to checkout.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Guest Communication Management: Act as the primary responder for all app-based communications (Airbnb, VRBO, Direct), utilizing property management tools to maintain rapid response times and high satisfaction.

  • SOP Execution: Utilize property-specific SOPs to answer guest inquiries accurately and resolve issues independently whenever possible.

  • Listing Maintenance: Assist in updating property listings, pricing notes, and property data to ensure accuracy across all platforms.

  • Operational Support: Monitor guest-related items in our management system to coordinate with cleaning and maintenance schedules as needed.

  • Administrative Tasks: Complete recurring tasks such as guest review management, QA checks on property data, and basic reporting and other similar tasks as assigned. 

MEASURES OF SUCCESS:

  • Responsiveness: Guest-facing communications have defined + monitored service standards.

  • Accuracy: 100% accuracy in updating listings and following property-specific SOPs.

  • Guest Satisfaction: Achieve and maintain five-star guest experience ratings.

What We're Looking For:

  • Hospitality Mindset:  You understand what makes a guest feel truly taken care of. Experience with Airbnb, VRBO, or the broader hospitality industry is a strong plus.

  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating Google Workspace and property management software and quick to pick up new tools.

  • Self-Managed: You align with our principles of autonomy and accountability. You own your domain and bring solutions forward rather than waiting to be told what to do.

  • Reliable & Available: Able to commit 24-28 hours each week, including during weekends and holidays, on a flexible  shifts to a consistent weekly schedule within our coverage hours (8am-9pm PST), including holidays and weekend shifts. 

  • US-Based: Ideally located in the PST timezone and available to travel to Lake Tahoe for team alignment meetings up to twice a year, if scheduled. 

Position Details:

  • Status: Employee (W-2) Non-Exempt, Hourly

  • Pay: $19/hour

  • Hours: 24–28 hours per week

  • Schedule: This is a variable-schedule position, with shifts scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Your schedule will vary from week to week and may include daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. You'll receive your schedule at least two weeks in advance, and no shift will exceed 8 hours.

  • Location: Remote (must be based in and authorized to work in the United States; Pacific Time Zone preferred)

Benefits:

  • Paid Sick Leave: Begins accruing from your hire date, per applicable state law. You're eligible to use accrued sick leave starting on your 90th day of employment. 

  • Paid Time Off (PTO): 40 hours annually, available after completing your first 90 days of employment.

  • Holiday Pay: If you are scheduled to work on one of the following holidays, your hourly rate is $25/hour: 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.
